These races are held every summer, and sponsored by local merchants. It's a fun way to compete against others and test your skills, without a lot of pressure.
Kanaha Beach Park is renowned as a great beach for beginners, as well as intermediate and advanced windsurfers. With lots of sandy shoreline, and shady grassy areas for rigging, it's a favorite spot for visitors as well as locals. There's ample parking for hundreds of cars, proper bathrooms and showers, and separate beach access for swimmers too. So bring the whole family down and enjoy a day at the beach!
